What we saw on the highway web cam while we waited for our overdue moving truck
A front loader and a dump truck are cleaning up after a slide. Nonetheless, the truck arrived last night. In true Humboldt county style, five of Ann & Howard's friends showed up to help us unload and the job was finished in two hours. Wisconsin provided its signature -17F temperatures the morning before we loaded the truck, and Eureka chalked up its 40th inch of rain (since July 1) while we unloaded last night.

Happy Homecoming! Glad all arrived ok despite the mudslide and over-sized truck. Many thanks to all the soggy people who helped you move in way over on the other coast. Malcolm must be happy to see his own things again.
Love, Oma

OK, I'm patiently waiting for an update. I'd call but don't know where or when to find you! Call me soon!
