Mom: Can you give me a tour of the garden? I haven’t seen it in a while because I’ve been sick and I'm excited to see what has grown.
Malcolm: You haven't gone in the garden because you were afraid you might get the plants sick?
(Funny thing is I knew he was going to ask that)
Showing his little dinosaur figure to an adult friend, Malcolm introduces it as Alamosaurus and says “it sounds like Allosaurus, except there is an M in the middle,” then he pronounces it again, exaggerating the middle syllable: “Ala-MO-saurus.”
Mom: Do you think we should set the crib up in your room or in Mom and Dad’s room?
Malcolm: In your room, but if she (Malcolm is sure the baby is a girl) cries, you can just bring her to me for some love.
Malcolm: We'll have to teach the baby not to put dirty things in her mouth, like sewage pipes.

That's amazing that Malcolm can put together such a difficult puzzle!! Way to go Malcolm!
I like the fun comments from Malcolm too. Maybe the baby in his room would be a good incentive for him to sleep in there all night. :)
