That must have been quite a sight. Could you hear the wings and honking?
I looked up Aleutian Goose and discovered it is a sub-species of the Canada Goose we have here. They look very similar, but the Aleutian is smaller.

I could hear all the geese flapping and geese honking but they were so far away that you couldn't see their colors.
